The collection consists of 57 letter from French residents of Vannes to Dr. (then Sgt.) Kemp Mabry, during and following World War II. Letters from members of the L'Honnen and Le Bourgne families, and especially from Suzanne Le Gleuher (later Saporita). Box 2 contains user's copies of the letters of "Les Vannetais" in 2 bound volumes.
